Enlightening film on W B-G, she was born in St Andrews, lived and worked away most of her life, then returned to live locally later in life. Interesting to see filming of landscape local to here, just inland across the fields. Amazing to see her range of work from drawing to painting, representational to abstract, her complete devotion to painting everyday. Her travel to the glaciers and northbound. Well narrated and put together as an art film / documentary of an artist, in a creative way inputting animation alongside film footage and photographs to describe her outlook and give insights to her work. Having worked over a large part of the 20th century it was interesting to align her art output with political and cultural events and movements going on alongside - she also seemed to remained independent of thought and true to herself.
